Sustainability in the product life cycle
18.03.2025How we conserve resources and make our products more sustainable

What makes a product truly sustainable? We ask ourselves this question every day - and focus on solutions that combine the environment and quality. We believe that acting sustainably is not only good for the environment, but also brings real benefits for you as our customers.
From production, packaging and transportation to recycling and carbon footprint: in this five-part series, we show you what we do specifically to make our products and processes more resource-efficient - and how you can benefit from this.
Part 1: Resource-conserving production - sustainability right from the start
Sustainability begins where a product is created: in production. Here we have many opportunities to use raw materials more sparingly, increase energy efficiency and use more environmentally friendly processes.
Our measures - and your benefit
We continuously invest in new machines and optimized processes. The result: less energy consumption, lower material usage and even more durable products for you. Some examples:
- Energy efficiency as standard: Our new polyurethane casting machine consumes just one twelfth of the energy of its predecessor model. This means lower CO₂ emissions during production - and still the highest quality.
- Intelligent use of materials: We use modern cutting and milling techniques to significantly reduce waste during production. Less waste not only means more sustainable processes, but also resource-saving products.
- Innovative coating: Our new roller coating system adds color to the products - with significantly less solvents and paint consumption. This is better for the environment and ensures a durable, even surface.
For you, this means: products that are manufactured with the highest precision, but are created in the most resource-efficient way possible.
Detailed information and further examples can be found in our sustainability report.
