Part 2: Sustainable packaging & transportation - less waste, same safety
08.04.2025Packaging is a sensitive topic: it should protect products while at the same time being made from materials that are as resource-efficient as possible.

Sustainable packaging - our approach
- Recycled material instead of new production: Our boxes are made from 99% recycled corrugated cardboard. This means we avoid unnecessary logging and reduce our ecological footprint.
- Reducing plastic: Instead of traditional plastic packaging, we use recycled LDPE flat bags and climate-neutral bubble wrap. Less new plastic, same protective function.
- Optimization of packaging sizes: We save packaging material and create space-saving shipping solutions by adapting box sizes. This means less filling material, less waste and more efficient transportation.
Efficient shipping - sustainable on the move
Our commitment does not end with packaging. We also rely on more sustainable solutions for transportation:
- Climate-friendly shipping: With DHL GoGreen Plus, we use lower-emission transportation methods.
- Optimized supply chains: We bundle deliveries to avoid unnecessary transport and reduce emissions.
For you, this means: packaging that protects your product but does not waste resources unnecessarily.
Detailed information and further examples can be found in our sustainability report.
In the next part of the series Sustainability in the product life cycle, we take a closer look at sustainability in administration.
